One of my friends from
London England went with me in my evangelistic film showing. While I set up my
equipment we discussed about power and authority, healing and words of
knowledge. I asked him to preach that night. During his preaching I had a problem
in interpreting him. He spoke very fast and his words were not clear to me. I
didn’t know if I was doing my job well and doubted if the crowd understood that
the Gospel of the Kingdom is for them.
In the middle of his
preaching, a word of knowledge came to him, His knee was in pain so I asked the
crowd if anyone had agonizing the pain of their knee. No one came up, He felt
another pain, this time in his ears. No one came up. But we continued in
preaching.
Finally a boy came up
with an injured knee. Brother Stuart started to pray for him and at that very
moment the boy got healed. Then a girl came up with an ear problem. The daughter
of Stuart wanted to try to pray, but she was hesitant to do so. I encouraged
her to go on with her little faith. So she touched the ear of the lady and she
said: In Jesus name you are healed. In that very moment the lady got healed.
After that the crowd began
pressing towards us; about 150 people. We could not pray for them one by one
because we were out of time as it was almost midnight. So we just extended our
hands and declared healing. We just said;" In Jesus name you are
healed" and at that very moment even though it was a cooled night we felt
the heat, Even the crowd felt it and most of them were healed. Praise God!
Stuart said that it was
the most awesome night he has ever had after the many times he has visited to
minister to the Filipinos. Usually when he visits here he conducts seminars and
bible studies to convince people to trust Christ. But this time with a simple
method and in a short period of time almost 150 trusted Christ because of the demonstrations
and the experience of healing in the power of the name of Jesus.
